Despite the Raid calander working perfectly seems (and it saddens me to say) too many ppl cant work a simple web sign-up system. We have reverted to trialing Group Calander in a bid to improve sign-ups. It is a simple to use, in-game WoW mod that is similar to the one we have been using, only you need to be in-game to access.

So far results have been encouraging, thus I have removed signups on the website system. Raids will be posted so you can find out when/where we are raiding from your lovley interweb browser, however online signups are now out of action - for now.

Officially 4/6 in SSC Morogrim dropped on our 1st attempt of the night, couldn't ask for anything more really in a night where we killed 4/6 in one session. Very GJ to all involved. Leo will bite the dust soon, then we gets to fight the bitch!

Attention all Levi Raiders, as of the 28th May 2008 we are now a "DKP Guild", you are currently only accruing points ( we are still rolling for items) but from the 4th June you will have DKP points to spend. At any time you can track your standings at http://www.leviathangaming.net/eqdkp (click the standings link at the top to see your points tally).

What is DKP? DKP is a loot distribution method that will replace the current "rolling" system, it is being introduced so that a "luck" system may be replaced with an "effort=reward" system. Points will be accrued and spent only on 25 man raids, you gain points for the following:

Farm Raids (Currently Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon, The Lurker Below and Hydross)

Being part of the raid before and up to 8 GT (this entails being ready for summon and at the very least stocked with food buffs) = 2 points
Being part of the raid at 9 GT and 10 GT = 1 point each
Being part of the raid at 11 GT = 2 points

Progression Content (Currently Sundays targeting Fathom Lord, Morogrim and Void Reaver)

Being part of the raid before and up to 8 GT (this entails being ready for summon and stocked with sufficient food buffs and consumables including flasks, elixirs etc.) = 2 points
Being part of the raid at 9 GT and 10 GT = 2 point each
Being part of the raid at 11 GT = 3 points

Each item has a fixed price (10% of the Item Level allocated by Blizzard). Anyone is able to bid on an item (for their main spec) by placing "bid" in channel "levidkp" when the item is linked (the price will also be listed), so don`t forget to /join levidkp once in the raid. The person with the highest amount of DKP points (only including up to the end of the last raid) then receives the loot and the price of the item is taken off said persons tally of DKP. In the event of two people having the same amount of DKP the person who has spent less points to date will receive the loot, in the event that both numbers are the same we will revert to a roll to decide the winner. There is the potential that people will run into negative points if for example they have no one challenging them for the item, you can still bid for items if you have negative DKP, although it is unlikely you will receive the loot.

The GM's and Officers do reserve the right to give bonus points for certain special achievements and also deduct points for various indiscretions.

From the 25th of May www.leviathanraids.com will no longer be used to sign up for raids.

We will be using the system you can see on the left hand side of the website. To sign for raids is simple.

Step 1

Make sure you have logged into the website and created your ingame characters. you can see this under the 'Raid Event Manager' sub menu.

Step 2

Find a raid you are eligible for. 10 man raids maybe limited to certain groups. These groups are a pool of players that have 'grew up' raiding together. If your unsure as to what group to sign for, spam the forums. If you want to raid with a certain group on a certain night, spam the forums.

** There are far too many raiders who do not use the web/site forums. This is where a lot of the officers etc pool their thoughts and help shape the guild. If you dont make your contribution then dont bitch when we dont meet your needs**

Step 3

Sign for a raid! Once you click a raid there will be an image in the top left of the pop-up. It will give a list of options available. The green tick and yellow arrow are the ones you click to sign for a raid. This will put you in a que.

On the raid day, normally an hour or two before the raid, selection will be made. Whoever doesnt make it will be considered 'back-up' and still may get a spot.

Step 4

Use some common sence. Its a hard job trying to please everyone when making raid selection. If its a progression raid and your new to the guild, you may miss out due to you beeing 'unproven'. If its a progression raid and you still have a few blues - you may not get in due to gear. ZA and T5 raids are gear dependant and we do not want to be carrying anyone who is not able to output as at that level. Hopefully this will push people into farming heroics for badge gear, crafting new purples whatever. As for farm content it is open to anyone, within reason (greens are not for raiding). to help gear and prep people for our progression pushes.

Make my life easier and sign for what you are ready for. We are not a 'boosting' guild. If your a DPS class and the tanks do more/equal damage - gear up. If your a healer and you do 1% raid heals - gear up.

If you feel your getting hard done by regarding raid selection. Speak up. Spam the forums, thats what they are here for. Even a quiet /w in-game.

But for the love of god, DO NOT /w during invites 'WHEN CAN I HAS INVITE PLXP0R?!?!?!?!!?' and do not spam in g 'WHEN DO INVITES START' we raid the same time, EVERY raid night. We have systems in-place that inform you of wether you are picked or wether your in reserve.

For all those that have read this far. Well done. I have a feeling only half of our raiders ever will :(

Hydross the unstable was killed 14/05/08 by the mighty leviathan!

Now brings us to 2/6 in SSC and the steamroller didn't stop there. We flew through and did Gruuls and Maggs in super quick time.

Five 25 man bosses in one night - mighty fine performance by all involved.

And Kudos to the new guys, the recent recruitment drive has proven to be a big success - keep up the good work!
